Hi.For money is very good value. Even in the normal price is a good choice as the new LCD technology, it would be with the best and even rival DLP picture quality. I paid $ 6000 AUS. Sharp LCD Projector during the first 3 years and there are now four or five times less expensive, but that's how goes. The SHARP DLP is also a good value for money, so I think one of them who would buy a useful .

Depends on what you can have, an LCD screen door effect (looks like you are looking for when Screen Doors, when up close) look at the DLP rainbow effect that some people see

Epson has a higher brightness but lower contrast, but if you have a dark room can make a difference.
Epson has a better screen Native 1024x768 (720p) vs. Sharp's 854x480 pixels (480p) to allow more pixels, the picture is more grainy than the Epson, you handle more image projection
2000-3000 Clock lamp, both the same (observed approximately 2-2 1 / 2 years)
Epson lamp costs $ 299 shipped Stock (Epson) Sharp about 420 million euros more (several vendors)
I had an Epson Homelite 20 ($ 399 refurbished from Epson) in a dark room, Nice, not so great in the classroom
Hope this helps
